Banana Chocolate Chip Baked Oatmeal

Banana Chocolate Chip baked Oatmeal

Nothing better than a tasty fiber filled make ahead breakfast or snack. The great thing about this recipe is you can really use whatever flavors you love. If you have leftover jams or canned pumpkin you can easily swap it for the banana ! Also best of all it’s one bowl friendly hello less dishes!

These bars are fiber, protein and healthy carb focused great for the start of the day or a mid day snack. Sweetened with date syrup and coconut sugar which I love using as they are not a harsh on blood sugar. If you can when buying oats look for sprouted oats as they are easier to digest and also glyphosate free. For chocolate my favorite is Hu Kitchen ( Code chefDanielle for discount) its date sweetened and the perfect amount of sweet.

Also a little tip if your bananas are not ripe simply place on a baking sheet and roast in the oven at 375 ‘f for 20-25 minutes or until soft and dont worry if they turn black! Let them cool and add to the recipe.

Add this recipe to your meal prep round up its easy enough for the kids to make too! Happy Cooking XOXO
