These  chocolate banana muffins are ridiculously easy to make . . . and even easier to eat. Full of ripe bananas, protein powder, cocoa powder, and dark chocolate chunks! Socially acceptable for breakfast, but decadent enough for dessert. No flour and refined sugar free which makes these a great way to start or end the day!

I love making muffins and having them on hand for when I need a quick snack or treat. These muffins are sweetened mainly by the bananas so make sure that they are very ripe which makes them sweeter. If you don’t have ripe bananas simply place in there peel on a baking sheet and bake at 350’f for 25-30 minutes until the skin is black. Allow to completely cool and add into recipe.

Easy healthy and delicious Chocolate Banana Muffins

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a muffin tin with 12 silicone baking cups.

    Place the mashed banana, eggs, sunbutter, maple syrup and vanilla in a bowl and blend until smooth. 

    Add in the protein, cacao, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Blend again until smooth.

    Add in the chocolate chips and mix. 

    Scoop the batter into the lined muffin pan. Each muffin slot should be filled about ¾ the way full, making 12 muffins.

    Place the  muffins in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. When done, the muffins should have nice rounded tops and be firm in the middle.

    Cool the muffins for 5 minutes in the baking pan. Then, remove them from their silicone liners and cool them on a wire cooling rack
