Balsamic Grilled Radicchio and Apples

Grilled raicchio glazed with balsalmic and grilled tart apples. Crunchy, a little sweet and delicious.

  • 2 whole radicchio cut in half or quarters
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 large green apple cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 garlic cloves grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped


  • Preheat bbq grill. In a bowl whisk olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper add radiccio and apple pieces. Toss in dressing and allow to marinate for 10 minutes.
    When the grill is hot place apple slices and radicchio on grate and grill 6-8 minutes turning halfway though or until cooked to desired cosistency.
    Once cooked remove from grill and place back into the same bowl, toss with lemon zest, garlic and herbs.
    Serve Immediately.
