Happy #tiptuesday everyone! I hope you are having a great start to the week. Today’s tips are all about the oven! Do you use bake or your convection bake more often? Below are some tips using that convection button that I love to use when I am cooking! I hope you find them helpful!! ⁣
⁣
1. Use your convection for roasting veggies and meats you will get that crispy crust. ⁣
2. When using convection bake reduce your temperature by 25 degrees⁣
3. Check the food frequently, it will cook quicker on the convection setting. ⁣
4. Do not crowd the oven or baking sheets it will create steam and not get your food crispy ⁣
5. When your oven is heating up place your baking sheets in there at the same time. This results in crispy food and also reduces cooking time. ⁣
6. Best foods to cook using convection- when your roasting, when your baking pies and pastries, making large batches of cookies, braising, covered casseroles and when you are toasting or dehydrating. ⁣
7. Do not use convection when baking bread, cakes, custards, quick breads and flans they will come out lopsided. ⁣
8. keep an oven thermometer in your oven just like a treadmill the number on the screen don’t actually prove what is going on inside ⁣
9. Clean your oven with baking soda and white vinegar ⁣
10. Get to know your oven where the hot spots are and the true temperature. It’s like a long term relationship LOL there are ups and downs⁣

Sheet Pan Sauage Cabbage and Potatoes! One pan and dinner on the table in 30 minutes yes please! I am all about one pan meals they are perfect for a quick healthy dinner and meal prep! For this recipe I did sausage @belcampomeatco , potatoes, peppers, cabbage and onion. I tossed the veggies in olive oil , Dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Tossed together and roasted for 25 minutes and then added the sausages and roasted until cooked through about 20 minutes more. Finish with a splash of apple cider vinegar and fresh herbs! ⁣

Coffee Toffee Caramel Baked Oatmeal!! Guess what i

Coffee Toffee Caramel Baked Oatmeal!! Guess what it is healthy!! This is so delicious as breakfast or even dessert. Vegan, Paleo and gluten free! Fun fact about me I actually dont drink coffee but love to bake with it! I cut them into hearts not only for Valentines Day coming because we could all use some love from our food. The more love you put into making food the more you enjoy it!! ⁣

Oats⁣
4 cups gluten free oatmeal ( I used @purelyelizabeth) ⁣
2 cups brewed coffee ⁣
2 cups almond milk @addjoi⁣
pinch of salt ⁣
1 cup toffee caramel ⁣
1 cup chopped toasted pecans ⁣
⁣
⁣
Bring coffee, salt and almond milk to a boil add in oats and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat mix in caramel and 1/2 cup pecans. Spray a 8x8 baking dish and pour oatmeal into dish and top with remaining pecans. Bake for 15-20 minutes until set. Allow to cool a bit serve right away or store in the fridge 3-4 days. Also dont forget to top it with more caramel sauce before serving!! ⁣

Toffee Caramel⁣
2 cans full fat coconut milk ⁣
3/4 cup coconut sugar ⁣
2 tbsp toffee stevia @nowfoodsofficial ⁣
pinch of salt ⁣
1 tsp vanilla extract ⁣
1 tsp espresso powder ⁣
⁣
⁣
Place coconut milk and coconut sugar into a sauce pan. Bring mixture to a boil and reduce to a simmer until it reduces to about 2 cups. ( you want it rich and caramel like) remove from the heat and add stevia, vanilla and espresso powder. Allow to cool and store leftovers in the fridge up to one week! ⁣
