The Best Fresh Mango Salsa Recipe

I can’t even count the number of times that I have made mango salsa throughout the years. As far as fruity salsas go, it’s easily my favorite. And whenever I serve it to a crowd, others apparently share the love because it always disappears faster than I can make it. I love serving it in tacos, on top of fish or even with eggs for breakfast.

When picking a ripe mango think of it as an avocado. You want it to be soft but not too soft and smell right near the stem it should have a tropical aroma. Here is a great video on how to cut a mango

All you need for this recipe is

  • mango
  • red onion
  • green onion
  • cilantro
  • tomatoes
  • limes
  • hot sauce
  • salt

All you need is a handful of ingredients to make this delicious healthy mango salsa!

Ingredients
  • 2 ripe mangos (peeled and diced)
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 bunch green onions (diced)
  • 1/4 cup red onion (finely diced)
  • 2 roma tomatoes (seeds removed and diced)
  • 2 limes (juiced)
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (tabasco is great)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients into a bowl. Stir and taste adjust more seasoning if needed. Will last in the fridge for 3 days.
