Crispy baked Ceasar Avocado Fries! ⁣ ⁣ I simpl Crispy baked Ceasar Avocado Fries! ⁣

I simply coated the avocados in potato starch, then dipped into caesar dressing I made my own but you can use @primalkitchenfoods  if you want to buy, then almond flour seasoned with onion powder, dried parsley, salt and pepper! Baked at 400 for 8-10 minutes or you can use an air fryer!⁣

Happy #tiptuesday everyone! With earth day being t Happy #tiptuesday everyone! With earth day being this week I thought I would share a few of my favorite things I do to not only make my health better but also help make our plant a better place! ⁣

1. Reduce my waste with food- I honestly try and not waste a thing I compost what I can’t eat and save my scraps to make stocks, salts and cleaners⁣
2. Try not to wear shoes in the house- Did you know that over 60% of our toxins come from what we track in on our feet! Keep a door mat at your door⁣
3. Clean Beauty - I recently became a Beautycounter consultant and have learned so much about all the chemicals in our products. Did you know that since WW2 over 85,000 chemicals have been created and only 1% are regulated in the US! I know when I choose there products I don’t have to question what is in them. ⁣
4. Buy organic grass fed and finished meats my favorite is @belcampomeatco ⁣
Buy Organic fruits and veggies for the dirty dozen and support local farmers ⁣
5. Store food in glass not plastic and use nontoxic cookware - I love @stasherbags and I reuse my glass jars from nut butters and oils. cookware I love cast iron and stainless steel @staub @caphalon @carawayhome ⁣
6. Drink well filtered water I love @synergyscience hydrogen water ⁣
 7. Clean with less chemicals - I personally use vinegar and baking soda for almost everything and I love @branchbasics for cleaning products ⁣
8. Lastly get outside daily in nature, talk with a friend and volunteer in the community!! ⁣

What are some things you do?
Indian Style stuffed Acorn Squash!. I made this wi Indian Style stuffed Acorn Squash!. I made this with leftovers I had in the fridge and thought it would be a fun side dish too. I cut the squash in half, removed the seeds and tossed in melted ghee and seasoned it with garam masala. Roasted in the oven at 375 until fork tender. For the stuffing I sautéed 1 chopped onion, riced cauliflower, carrot and turnips. Added in 1 tbsp fresh ginger and garlic then seasoned with roughly 1 tsp garam masala, turmeric and onion powder. Cooked for 2-3 minutes added one chopped tomato, 1 cup cooked lentils @sproutedflour , 1 cup coconut milk and salt. Cooked for an additional 5-8 minutes and then stuffed in the squash. Topped with fresh cilantro and chives.
